Siemens NX / UG
You Send the 3D Part Model. We Build the Tool Model in Siemens NX.
We review the part geometry and forming requirements to determine how the tool should be built. Surface geometry, parting and compensation are resolved in the Siemens NX tool model. We also account for the toolpaths, workholding and machining that follow—not just the CAD geometry.
- Review the part and forming requirements to define the tooling approach
- Create and refine the 3D tool model in Siemens NX
- Program the toolpaths from the 3D tool model in NX CAM
- Set up and machine the tool on our in-house gantry CNC machines
Common tooling materials: tooling board, machined aluminum, cast aluminum and cast iron. Send the project data for review if another material is required.
